Hillsdale, Michigan – 5 December 2024: The Hillsdale County Community Foundation (HCCF), a trusted leader in local philanthropy, proudly celebrates the incredible success of this year’s Great Give, held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Giving Tuesday is an international movement that inspires people, communities, and organizations to come together in support of charitable causes. This year’s event saw a dynamic collaboration with 18 nonprofits, each playing a vital role in addressing essential needs and enhancing the well-being of residents in Hillsdale County.
The generosity of donors and the efforts of these organizations had a widespread impact, benefiting key areas such as healthcare, the arts, volunteer initiatives, education, and more throughout the county. Donors from our community rallied together to contribute to the causes they are passionate about, resulting in $284,135 raised through 1,168 gifts.
“We are amazed and truly grateful at the outpouring of love from our community during this year’s Great Give,” stated Sharon Bisher, CEO. “It was the power of community at work, together building something we cannot do alone. We are so thankful to everyone who supported us on that day.”

- Helping Hands Pregnancy Resource Center
- Hillsdale CASA, Inc. (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
- Hillsdale Community Theatre – The Sauk
- Hillsdale County Senior Services Center, Inc.
- Hillsdale Hospital
- Hospice of Hillsdale County
- Kimball Camp Outdoor Center
- Kings Kupboard (Trinity Lutheran Church)
- Love INC.
- St. Peter’s Free Clinic
- Salvation Army
