Hillsdale, MI, December 16, 2022 – Residents and friends showed their love and support of Hillsdale County by raising $201,206.00 for this year’s Great Give event, hosted by the Hillsdale County Community Foundation.

This year’s Great Give event was held at the Hillsdale United Brethren Church Activity Center (HUB) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Drive-thru, online, and in-person donations were collected. Online donations were gifted through www.abouthccf.org from the convenience of the donor’s home.

The number of individual gifts given during Tuesday’s event and the pre-giving period totaled 1,025 up from 980 last year.   The Foundation also added incentive opportunities totaling $32,000 to the days total.

The nonprofit agencies in attendance included: Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness, Court Appointed Special Advocates, Domestic Harmony, Great Start Collaborative, Greater Hillsdale Humane Society, Helping Hands Pregnancy Resource Center, Hillsdale County Senior Services Center, Hospice of Hillsdale County, the Jonesville Mission, Kings Kupboard Food Pantry, Love INC, St. Peter’s Free Clinic, the Salvation Army, and the Sauk Theatre. Donations were also accepted for other agencies and the Hillsdale County Community Foundation.

All of the agencies in attendance had the opportunity to connect with their fellow nonprofits while collecting donations to further their missions in helping the people of Hillsdale County. The Hillsdale County Community Foundation would like to genuinely thank everyone who contributed in showing their support and generosity for the incredible community we live in.

The Hillsdale County Community Foundation was established in 1991, to receive and administer funds for artistic, charitable, educational, and scientific purposes in a manner that both promotes the spirit of philanthropy and meets the needs of the people of Hillsdale County. Much of the Community Foundation’s grant-making is focused on youth, leadership, philanthropy and volunteerism.
